So the site is now live! This is incredibly exciting. For me, anyhow. I understand if you aren’t too excited yet. Give me a few blog posts before you cast judgment. I need to loosen the muscles again. I don’t think I’ve done this since Xanga. Yeah, Xanga.

THROWING LETTERS INTO THE CHASM

Doing this blogging thing again feels a bit like throwing a bunch of letters into a giant chasm. Things get very echo-y and uncertain in there. I really have no idea who will ACTUALLY read this, but I am hoping for three things: 1) I want to make you think. I hope that you’ll see something here that will make you reconsider or reevaluate something in your life. Also, 2) I want to make you laugh. Because, why not? But most importantly, 3) I want you to see how amazing Jesus is. That’s the real reason for this thing. I’m going to spend an awful lot of time talking about Him, so get used to it.

If you stop by STEVENLISTER.COM a couple of times a day (listen, I can hope for the best) or perhaps, more realistically, you stop by STEVENLISTER.COM (hey, it’s free ad space for me) a couple of times a month…I hope you find things that make you think. I hope you find a couple of things that make you laugh. But I pray that God gives my corner of the giant chasm the favor enough for you to see that Jesus is the real deal. He’s the fulfillment of everything you’re looking for. And whether you think you are or not – you ARE looking for something.
